 I got his book on mountain biking skills and I'm very grateful for it. There's very limited solid info like that out there for people that are still learning.

 Actually those books are very false. If you really want to learn the correct ways of mountain biking instead of investing your money in a new fork or what ever invest your hard earned cash into pro coaching by Gene Hamilton of Better ride coaching. He will make you way better than this book ever will. I bought that book and it didn't make any sense until I learned all that I did from Gene. The writer of that book took everything he knew from Gene but got it wrong because the "New" techniques came out and the writer didn't get the memo. So the writer teaches and writes about the wrong stuff. Gene teaches stuff that will benefit any kind of rider. P.s. Gene coaches young ripper Mitch Ropelato and Pro Greg Minnaar just to add to his credibility!
